Currently the educational institution VSB is working again on our duty rooms in the Waldbröl station building. The young adults replaced broken glass panes and painted the frames from the outside. At the workshop of the VSB young people refurbished a real treasure under the guidance of Mr. Kappenstein: the original ticket cabinet of the Waldbröl station. One can read the railway history of the upper Berg county from it: one drawer label promises "Conductor tickets Brüchermühle - Wildbergerhütte". The line Brüchermühle - Wildbergerhütte doesn't exist anymore since over 50 years! The cabinet has been refurbished in a way that it is usable again but didn't lose its patina.
