A member of the Wiehltalbahn track construction crew is affixing a not really unimprotant plate. Photo: Ulrich Clees Many things are required for the passengers to find the platform and to board a train: The track has to be in good shape, the vehicles have to be maintained, (transport) policy work and administration have to be done in the background - a good opportunity to put the most diverse talents behind a thrilling project. Happy pasengers are the biggest thank for the effort.

The Wiehltalbahn teams up people of different origin and talents: Pupils, teachers and engineers; people who like most to work on the track, people who like to act as a conductor and people who prefer to campaign for the Wiehltalbahn from their desk at home.
